Volunteer

As the Paradise Center for the Arts, we rely on dedicated volunteers to help deliver high-quality arts experiences to our community. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization — quite simply, we could not do this work without them.


Each performance in our auditorium requires nine front-of-house volunteers to welcome guests, assist with seating, manage concessions, and ensure a positive patron experience. Beyond performances, committee volunteers play a critical role in shaping our programming, strengthening organizational health, supporting fundraising efforts, and caring for our facilities.


Volunteering at the Paradise is a meaningful way to support the arts while connecting with others who value creativity and community.

Volunteer Guidelines


Paradise Center for the Arts volunteers are a huge part of what makes every show and event at the Paradise special. You help create a friendly, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors — and we truly couldn’t do it without you!


Arrival & Check-In

     Please arrive one hour before the show starts. (Our doors open to patrons at that time.)

  • Check in with the Box Office staff when you arrive. They’ll review your role for the evening and go over any special notes.
  • Running late? Call us right away at 507-332-7372 ext. 1.


If You Can’t Make It

  • We depend on our volunteers to keep things running smoothly.
  • If you can’t attend your scheduled shift, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • If you’re able, try to find a replacement.

Timing matters:

  • 48 hours’ notice helps us find someone to fill your spot.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice — please call right away and do your best to help us find coverage.

After Friday at 5 PM, call the Box Office (507-332-7372 ext. 1).



Staying Until the End

Volunteers are asked to stay until the performance ends and help with light cleanup unless other arrangements have been made.

  • Help us maintain a positive environment free from discrimination of any kind.
