Main Doors Accessibility
Ticketed performances/shows and some special events will have a Door Person at our main doors to assist guests in entering the building. Should you need assistance with the doors at other times, please call the Box Office at 507-332-7372.
Elevator
The elevator can be located on the northeast side of the lobby. The elevator can be used to reach the lower level (rehearsal room and offices) and the upper level (classrooms and balcony).
Accessible seating
There are 3 transfer seats located on the south side of the right aisle (N2, O2, P2). There are 6 wheelchair spots at the front of the auditorium, with companion seating, accessible via the right aisle and ramp (south side of the lobby). To purchase a companion seat, you must also purchase a wheelchair spot.
American Sign Language (ASL)
Paradise Community Theatre and the Marquee Children's Theatre have one performance per show, ASL interpreted. Contact the box office at 507-332-7372, boxoffice@paradisecenterforthearts.org to find out the date and the interpreters' location.
Assisted Listening Device (ALD)
ALDs are available at the Box Office prior to each performance. Patrons are asked to leave their name and phone number with the house manager. The house manager/production coordinator will meet you in the lobby after the performance to return the hearing device to the box office.
Sensory-Friendly
Marquee Children’s Theater offers one sensory-friendly performance per show. Children’s wiggle seats and booster seats are available for kids’ shows on a first-come, first-served basis.
Service dogs
Service dogs are welcome at all programs. It is expected that the service dog will be kept under the handler’s control and shall not disrupt programs, performances, or classes. It should be noted that emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion dogs, and dogs in training to be service dogs, are not considered service dogs under the guidelines of the ADA and therefore not permitted in programs or performances.
