Thanks to the vision of a small group of theatre-minded people in 1987, there is a thriving community theatre in Faribault today. The goal was to promote the public interest in the dramatic arts by providing education,
information and opportunities for the enjoyment of theatre activities.
Originally named Faribault Area Community Theatre, Inc. (FACT), the organization, during its first 20 years, presented large-cast summer musicals, regular 3-act dramas and comedies, and variety reviews wherever they could find a stage on which to perform.
In 2006, after merging with the Faribault Art Center (FAC) and the Paradise Center for the Arts (PCA), FACT finally had a home of its own! Now known as Paradise Community Theatre (PCT), the group continues to provide high quality theatrical experiences for performers and audiences alike, exclusively in the Bahl Family Auditorium.
The PCT Annual Season currently consists of 3 productions each year. The PCT is a volunteer organization within the Paradise Center for the Arts. If you are interested in learning more about the PCT or wishing to help make the magic happen, give us a call today and we would be glad to get you involved.
