car pARTs a Juried Exhibit
Artists are invited to participate in a juried show featuring artwork that is related to cars. Entries must include an image or part/whole of a car or car part. Exhibit dates are August 3rd – September 25th 2012
Submission Requirements
-Entries must include an image or part/whole of a car or car part
-Created pieces need to feature, portray or be related to cars
-No piece shall be larger than 4 feet in any direction
-Work must be original, created with in the last two years
-Only digital images will be accepted for the jury process
-Deadline for submissions June 8th 2012
-Shipping and insurance is the sole responsibility of the artist
Entry Fees
Two pieces may be submitted at $10/piece for PCA members and $15/piece for non-members. Entry fee is non refundable
Image Submission
Submission by digital images is required. Applicants must submit digital images on a labeled CD with first and last name of artist; title of piece(s) and dimensions. Images must be saved as a JPEG format of at least 800X800 pixels and not to exceed 1200X1200 pixels. Resolution must be 300 dpi or higher. Two images allowed per piece – one full view and one detail. CDs will not be returned.

Mediums
Almost any artistic medium may be used; however works must be prepared for gallery display. Proper hanging devices for mounting to the wall if need be must be included. The PCA reserves the right to reject any work due to inadequate framing or mounting.
Delivery/shipping Artwork
Accepted artwork may be hand delivered to the PCA during open hours or shipped. The cost of shipping to and from the PCA is the responsibility of the artist. The PCA is not responsible for damage during shipment to and from the PCA. Shipped work will be returned using a prepaid shipping label provided by the artist.

Sales/Insurance
The PCA retains 30% commission on any work that is sold. If work is sold you must have a W9 & consignment contract on file with the PCA. Please contact the PCA for these forms. Artwork not for sale must be marked NFS. The PCA will not be held responsible for insurance coverage.

July 21st-28th – Drop off of artwork to the PCA
July 31st 2012 – Hang exhibit
August 3rd 5-7pm – Public Reception and awards presentation
September 25th 2012 – Exhibit close
September 25th-29th pick up artwork, shipped artwork returned
