I tell the
stories of my experiences through the medium of batik.
I enjoy the physical use of the tools used
in Batik as well as the anticipation of seeing a picture come to life. The wax and dye offer a wonderful
versatility that allows for experimentation and a sense of play. My ideas come from the observation of people
and places at home or on my travels, and sometimes arrive from the
process
itself.

Sweere Family from Owatonna has been creating art for several decades.
These seven artists have generated hundreds of works of fine art,
