“I tell the stories of my experiences through the medium of batik.
I enjoy the physical use of the tools used in Batik as well as the anticipation of seeing a picture come to life. The wax and dye offer a wonderful versatility that allows for experimentation and a sense of play. My ideas come from the observation of people and places at home or on my travels, and sometimes arrive from the process itself.”
